Mental health is important

Needing some along time is ok!

Hey, I'm not telling you that you have to isolate yourself in your room, I'm just saying that it's ok if you need to recharge. I speak for my self when I say that I love spending quality time with my friends and family, and I'm sure most of you also do, but there are times everything feels so annoying and too much, so I just go to my room to get some quality time with myself. 

You can listen to music, draw, meditate, slept or whatever you like. 



Do physical activity 

I know, I know, it looks like I'm tricking you into doing exercise , but I promise it works. Doing any physical activity clarifies your mind, and if you don't want to think, it keeps you distracted.
Any exercise works, just mak sure to not push yourself too far.


Sleep!

Fr, just that. Sleep. You might get grumpy if you don't, your mind gets all dizzy and you can concentrate or think property. A good night of sleep can really help you to have a better day.

Get organize 

Well, many people (including me) have a hard time being organized and that can be a problem, you might forget important stuff. 
But you can try writing important stuff somewhere you won't forget, don't leave stuff anywhere that don't belong (keep your room/workplace clean), make a schedule and follow it the best you can.  


Eat healthy

Doing this for sure gives you more energy and even if sometimes you would rather eat pizza everyday, having this good habit makes you feel good.
And you don't have to go on a strict diet, eating trash food or candy in some occasions is totally ok, and even necessary to have a balance eating habit.



Have hobbies 

It can be useful to keep your mind busy and it gives you a lot of serotonin doing something you like. Even if you're not good at first, just keep trying. And if you don't feel like it's not your thing, you can go and look for another until you find the one that's perfect for you.

Express your emotions. 

Repressing your feeling is just gonna make you snap at some point. Just make sure you express them the right way. 
Try to be not throw your bad feeling over other people. I know it hard to not-explote when your mad, but try to be logical and think a lil bit about other people's feelings. 
Talking about it is a good start. 
And it can also help when you're sad or passing through a difficult situation. Having someone that gets your back in the hard times can be a real life-saver. 



Get a goal

When you feel like everything is meaningless and there's no reason to keep going, this can safe you. Having something you want to get and working hard to do so, is helpful and keeps your mind busy. 


DO NOT spend the whole day in the internet

It know it can be really catchy and I'm being kind of a hypocrite saying (writing* pudm push) this, but there's no way living in a virtual world is healthy. 
Sometimes the reality sucks and getting lost in a virtual seems like an attractive option. 
However, it doesn't last, so (even if it is hard) the best think to do is to face reality, and learn how to separate it from fiction. 
This doesn't mean you have to burn all your electric devices, just spend the right amount of time on them. 



And last but not least,

Socialize

This could be easier for one than for others and involving with other people in your life is always complicated, but is worth the shot, isn't it?
Relationships aren't stable or easy, but friends are always there to make you laugh, comfort you, cry with you, help you with homework, and listen to you while you vent. They are there for you and you're there for them, I don't know about you but I fell warm-hearted with that statement. 
Not everyone is going to be a good friend, or apport to your life (some people are just not meant to be) and the only way of finding out which are which is by trying, failing and trying again. You might get hurt, but at the end of the day I'm pretty sure you're gonna find at least a couple of good friends.
Open your heart.
Talk to other people is enjoyable and exciting.
